LED display live streaming setup

Setting up live streaming on LED displays enables real-time content delivery for events, broadcasts, sports venues, and corporate communications. The basic signal chain consists of a video source such as a camera or streaming device, a video processor or scaler, and the LED display controller. For local camera feeds, connect via HDMI or SDI cables to a video processor that scales the signal to match the display native resolution. Network-based streaming requires a media server capable of receiving RTMP, RTSP, SRT, or NDI streams and outputting to the display controller. Ensure sufficient network bandwidth with a minimum of 20 megabits per second for 1080p streaming and 50 megabits per second for 4K content. Latency is critical for live applications, with sub-200-millisecond end-to-end delay achievable using hardware encoders and direct connections. For multi-display synchronization, use genlock-capable controllers that maintain frame-accurate alignment across all screens.
