Test the video processor’s input signals, ensuring compatibility with common sources such as SDI, HDMI, and DisplayPort. Set the resolution scaling to match the display’s native pixel count. Finally, run a full-power burn-in test for at least two hours to confirm thermal management is working. The cabinet temperature should not exceed 60°C under full load.
Outdoor concert displays require regular maintenance to ensure longevity. After each event, inspect the front and rear surfaces for water ingress. Clean the LED modules with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and isopropyl alcohol if needed. Do not use high-pressure water jets. Check all gaskets and seals for wear; replace any that show cracking. Verify that the cooling fans are operational; clogged filters should be cleaned or replaced monthly. Torque all mounting bolts to the manufacturer’s specification, typically 10 to 15 Nm. Store spare cabinets in a climate-controlled environment. For long-term installations, apply a UV-resistant coating to the cabinet frames. Monitor the power draw regularly; a sudden increase may indicate a failing power supply. Maintain a log of all service events.
