LED display modules Choose the correct quantity of modules based on the required screen size and resolution. Before installation, inspect every module carefully and make sure the LEDs and housing are free from damage.
Power supplies Select power supplies that match the total power consumption of the LED screen . In addition, leave enough power margin to ensure stable long-term operation.
Control system Use a compatible control card according to the display requirements. You can choose either a synchronous or asynchronous control system depending on the application.
Ribbon cables Prepare suitable ribbon cables for module-to-module connections. Make sure the cable length and connector types match the installation layout.
Power cables Use power wires with the correct gauge to handle the required current safely and efficiently.
Aluminum frame or cabinet structure Build a strong and stable frame to support the entire LED display. At the same time, consider the overall appearance and installation environment.
Screws, nuts, and mounting accessories Use these components to secure modules, power supplies, control cards, and other parts firmly in place.
Prepare the following tools before starting the assembly process:
First, choose a clean, spacious, and flat working area. Avoid humid or dusty environments because moisture and dust can damage LED components and affect performance.
Next, make sure the workspace has:
A well-prepared workspace will improve installation efficiency and reduce potential issues later.
First, place all frame sections on the floor according to the screen dimensions. Then, use an electric drill to create mounting holes at the connection points.
Next, connect the frame pieces with screws and nuts to form the required structure, usually a rectangle. During assembly, use measuring tools or corner clamps to maintain precise 90-degree angles and keep the frame perfectly aligned.
After completing the frame, tighten all screws securely and check the overall stability.
Choose suitable positions inside the frame for the power supplies. Usually, installers place them near the edges or corners to improve heat dissipation and simplify cable management.
Then:
Secure each power supply with screws.
Connect the AC input wires firmly.
Organize the DC output cables for later connections.
Before moving forward, use a multimeter to verify that the output voltage is correct. If the voltage appears abnormal, immediately inspect the power supply and wiring.
Next, install the control card inside the frame. Ideally, place it near the power supply and external signal input area for easier maintenance and wiring.
After mounting the controller:
Connect it to the power supply.
Connect it to the external signal source, such as a computer via network cable or USB cable.
Configure the basic parameters according to the user manual, including:
Proper controller configuration ensures stable display performance during operation.
Now begin installing the LED modules.
Start from one corner of the screen and place the first module into the frame. Then secure it using screws or locking mechanisms depending on the module design.
Pay close attention to the module direction to maintain the correct display orientation.
