After all connections are made, power on the system and initiate the calibration routine. Use a spectrometer or the manufacturer’s calibration software to adjust RGB gain and offset values per cabinet. Finally, test the display’s ability to handle rapid content changes, such as countdown timers or scrolling text, to confirm the refresh rate is stable.
Before opening the booth to attendees, conduct a comprehensive safety inspection. Ensure all cables are secured and routed away from walking paths using cable covers or gaffer tape. Verify that the display’s temperature remains within the manufacturer’s specified range, typically 0°C to 40°C, and that ventilation grilles are not obstructed. Check that the emergency power-off switch is accessible and clearly labeled. For ongoing maintenance throughout the multi-day event, assign a technician to monitor the display for any pixel failures or connectivity issues.
