Understanding that the IP rating of the display, often IP30 for indoor use, does not protect against liquid jets or submersion is critical. This means that cleaning protocols must be strictly non-liquid-based or use only slightly damp, lint-free cloths on sealed edges. The refresh rate, ideally above 1,920 Hz, ensures flicker-free recording for social media content, but this high-speed operation generates heat, which must be managed through proper ventilation.

Inspect all internal ribbon cables and connectors for wear. The IP rating of the display does not protect the internal electronics from dust, so keeping these areas clean is essential. Test the power draw of each panel individually to ensure it is within the specified range, typically 150 to 200 watts per square meter. Any panel drawing significantly more or less power should be flagged for replacement. Check the viewing angle performance by observing the display from the sides; a loss of brightness or color shift may indicate aging LEDs. Finally, update all firmware for the display controller, sending cards, and receiving cards to the latest versions provided by the manufacturer. Schedule this deep maintenance during a period of low venue activity, such as a weekday afternoon, to minimize disruption. Document all findings and actions taken for future reference and warranty purposes.
